Work package 1 (WP1)
Data collection and preprocessing

Objectives: Work package WP1 will focus on acquiring raw operational data from the real steel plant, taking molten pig iron and molten steel samples, and preprocessing the data package.
Work package 2 (WP2)
Data analysis and exploration
Begining of WP2 - M4

Objectives: WP2 will be dedicated to the analysis and exploration of the collected data. The work package will look at the dataset, identifying patterns, trends and correlations. Using statistical methods, analytical modelling and regression analysis, the project will gain a deeper insight into the data.

Objectives: WP3 is the core phase of the project. By combination of statistical modeling, econometric algorithms, and machine learning techniques nitrogen prediction models will be developed.

Objectives: Validation of the proposed prediction models during WP4, to improve the accuracy and validate the predicted results. Accuracy testing on real data.

Objectives: To maximize the impact of results and deliverables in the creation of prediction formulas, a comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy is essential. This WP5 deals extensively with the dissemination of the results achieved during the project in the form of scientific articles and reports.
